Hello
I am interested in buying a Fender Champion that is for sale in my area. I’m new to lap steel and I don’t know what to look for other than general condition, evidence of repairs, warping, working electronics, those kinds of things. I know the tuners have been replaced, and I was wondering if there was any way to tell if the pickup is original. I also need to know what else I need to look for. Any help would be appreciated.
