That was me when I was that little. My dad had a steel player buddy that come to our family jams once in a while and I was always so fascinated by all the pedals and stuff. I remember wanting to touch it sooo bad but I knew I'd probably get a whop from dad if I got too close, so I just sat on the floor 2 feet away from it and sang along with the gang. I still remember that brown Sho~Bud D10 sitting in our living room just like it was yesterday.

| Whenever I have a band practice at a friend's house with little kids around they seem to get a big kick out of the pedal steel. The ones who are just at the crawling stage like to mash the pedals, and the ones who can reach the strings like playing around with the slide. I've started keeping a scratched up bar in my seat so they can bang it around instead of my BJS. |
