I have some backing CD's which consist of the melody on one track and the backing on the other so you can hear the whole thing or just play the backing by switching channels off etc.
I would like to load them onto iTunes but I'm not sure that I can independantly switch Left and Right off and on to control what is being played back through my computer. Can you help please.
Thanks,
Howard. |

Not iTunes, but the computer you are using for play back should have Left<>Right stereo pan controls.
In Windows, you'll find it in Control Panel >Sound and Audio Devices. |

That's brilliant, I had forgotten all about the computer sound control. Thanks for the reminder, that will do the job nicely.
Thanks again,

iTunes does have an EQ however, not everybody notices this and it is pretty handy. But no balance control unfortunately. You do it with the Windows or Mac mixer. |

Hi John
I appreciate your input, I have to admit that I do use iTunes a fair bit but have never really investigated all the facilities available. I will have a look at the EQ which could be quite a useful option.
Thanks again for your interest.
