Having heard this guy play "The Texas two step " I'm so impressed with his tone and technique I've just ordered his CD. I'd never heard of Rudy Osborne before now. Anyone met him? |

I met Rudy at a steel show many years ago. He's a nice guy and a very smooth player. His "Classic-N-Steel" CD is very professionally done - a real "class act", as they would say! |

Rudy lives "just down the road a piece" from me but I have never had the honor of meeting him. Heard him play and he is one heckova steel player. Get his cd and you will see what I mean by "heckova" _________________ SL D-10, SL U-12,SL SD-10, Custom Tele w/B bender, Steel King, TC300 Effects, Goodrich H-10K pedal, Fender V/T Pedal, Hilton Pedal Elite seat. |

Rudy lives down around Little Rock-Hot Springs Area. He should be on Ronnie Neighbors show this year at the end of October. First class player and first class guy! Ray _________________ Ray Qualls

Rudy and I are from the same neck of the woods, Zanesville, Ohio. He followed me in a local band doing radio and tv. One night he wanted to jam and I being a little older I wanted ro run around town which I did. I'll always be sorry for that. I came west and he went to work in some nightclubs in the midwest where he cut his teeth and developed into a fine picker and then he went to work for Dottie West for about 10 years throughout the 70's. He sent me a copy of his CD "Classic-N-Steel". Excellent tone and execution. I really dig it. I respect Rudy Osborne very much. Anybody who has a chance to meet and hear him play, I recommend you do so. _________________ GFI ULTRA D-10, EVANS, FENDER 2000 (WORN OUT) TWIN REVERB W/JBL'S, OLD 4-10 BASSMAN |

Hi James. I am proud to say that Rudy and I are very close friends. He lives about 65 miles from me and we visit online as well as on the phone quite often. We take turns working out when we can and come out to hear each other play. Just last night Rudy took my place not too far from his home and worked a gig for me so I could go a stage show not too far from my home with the other band I play in. I can say that he is the same off the stage as he is on the stage. Just a great big teddy bear as his wife Shelby would say. Yep, he's a good person. You will certainly enjoy his CD. Great steel player as well. I have learnt a lot from him and am about ready for some more lesons. Ray is right. Rudy will be playing at Ronnies show in Oct. If you can make it you will hear some real talent. This will be Ronnie's last year to host the steel guitar show also so that will be another good reason to attend if you can. _________________ Mullen Royal Precision D10 Red Lacquer Pearl inlay 8&8

They will be doing their own share of fainting when they hear you play Rudy.
I've got a video that the late Chuck Bailey took of you. Wow... (I played with his band when he was stationed over here).
You're a great player and a knockout on C6. |
