Topic: Micro Cube Question? |

| I used a Roland Micro Cubes line out into some old small tube amps basically for the reverb, delay, tremolo, and a little low volume distortion. I did it a few times and it sounds great, but I'm wondering if it hurts any part of the amp in the form of over powering it? Would I be better off buying a reverb and delay pedal. Thanks, Bob |

Robert,
As long as your not hearing distortion from the small tube amps your putting the line out of the cube into you not doing any harm. The difference in a line out and a guitar out is the level of the signal. So if your not over driving the input of the final amp you doing basically the same thing as putting pedals in front of the amp.

Robert, last Saturday I played a small bar gig. An old back injury raised it's ugly head so instead of taking my D10 and Webb 614E, I took my S10 and Roland Cube 60 with a 15" extension speaker. I couldn't believe the tone! The only time I had any difficulty keeping up on the volume was when the drummer got a "little" carried away on Honky Tonk Woman.
