How can you describe the style of Mr.Larry Knechtel on this song? Vaudeville or Barrelhouse comes to mind, is that the right name for this?

I would say it is what you got when you ask a white LA session player in the 60s to play a black "gospelish" groove! Cool

If you listen into the track there is some nice Baldwin electric harpsichord going on also.

That HAS to be Joe Osborne on electric bass....or at least I want it to be...could be Carol Kaye.

Sounds like Hal Blaine playing drums.
