I do for my business (@ethicstweet) and check in now and then on #pedalsteel. However, as for the pointless babble - and there is certainly plenty of it - I just don't get the point of it. Thankfully, one can 'turn off' all that babble, or avoid it altogether, just by not following the babblers.

Once I finally took the plunge into Twitter - and it was tough to convince to me to try it - I've been amazed at how helpful it's been in the non-music part of my professional life.

My teenage kids twitter but I have never asked them what its all about, seems to me its a good way of keeping in touch with friends that you know and hundreds of pretend "friends " that they never see.

They keep telling me i should do it 'cos lots of businesses have a twitter or facebook presence ,can anyone tell me how it helps in business.
