Just stumbled onto a YOU TUBE clip of Jerrimy Wakefield knockin' out some of that fabulous stuff on what appears in one clip to be, a dbl-6 Rick, and yet, in another clip, a double-8. Non-pedal of course and he demonstrates just what all can be done with a non-pedal steel g'tar. Great inspiration! The group is billed as LUCKY STARS.

And quietly in the background, is Portland, Oregon's, own shy, talented, Rusty Blake on lead g'tar. There is a talent that has for far too long, remained in the obscure background. Blake plays a great vintage, triple-8 BIGSBY, with one of those great olde Fender 4x10 bassman amps from the early 1950's.

My hats off to this fine group.

Hey, thanks for the kind words, Skipper. Let's get out there and play sometime, before I get too old!

That's JW's travel guitar, a DW-16 probably very similar to the one that you have listed for sale. He sure gets a lot out of it, don't he?

Russ, thank you for your post.

The g'tar he's playing on the YouTube video looks just like my little DW-16.

Yes, he gets a tremendous amount of music out of his g'tars, no question about it........regardless of which g'tar he's playing.

Since I'm 'retired', why don't you give me a hollar when you foresee yourself having some free time and we'll make it happen. Would truly enjoy that.

I haven't managed to get my BIGSBY out of the case since we visited Dallas last March......and I've got to get that done.

THANKS for your input.
