I had a Stringmaster control plate I got on EBay that had the pickup area altered, basically it had one large hole where the pickups would normally rest.I put a trap pickup on the control plate, added a piece of aluminum to fill remainder of the the hole and stuck it on one neck of a 24" scale Stringmaster. So now I have the Trap tone without the cramped space of a shorter scale that bothers some people about the Trap models. Still playing around with it, there is some difference in volume from the Trap to the other neck with the normal pickups. It was a rainy day project.
