Just bought the new CD by Leona Williams,with Mike on steel.
"Sings Merle Haggard" If you like straight country with lots of good steel,this is worth checking out.Very,very nice playing Mike!

| I had the great pleasure of working with Leona during the time she was married to Hag...She still is one of my favorite singers as well as a person..I had fun doing the duet with her of a song she wrote and she and merle recorded together.."The Bull of the woods and the Beaver from Mo"..One thing that often gets unmentioned is Leona is a great song writer..There ain't no better Country being recorded nowadays then the Texas label she now records with.. |
