October follows September, my what a deep thought! September, the biggest steel guitar convention of all!!! Come one, come all!! Scotty's got a great line-up for us. Let's don't miss it!! But October, down on Route 66 in the southeast corner of Kansas, the KSGA will host a steel guitar convention that's near and dear to our hearts! Lee Ogle, Ray Qualls, and the rest of the crew of the Kansas Steel Guitar Club, and oh yes, the great 'cooks', welcome us all to a great weekend, the first weekend of October. Lee and the rest of them have a great talent of making you feel welcome and glad that you came. There's a guy from Phoenix that comes with a desire to play his best for us on the steel guitar that he made with his own hands. And he has an appetite for great food. Can anyone guess who that is? And then there's a fine gentleman, a 15 year old gentleman, who can play the steel guitar with the best of them and he, too, is a judge of great food! Believe me, there's always a great number of steel guitar players at this show and a good band of musicians to back them up. See you in Baxter Springs, KS October 2-4!!!
