Reese, I've been wondering about info you have on the Vintage XL D-10, Blue Laquer SN: 2C6698 that I bought from Danny Cormier a few years ago. Thnks for making such a wonderful instrument! The recent comparison that Darvin Wilhoite did of 3 MSA's & and Emmons p/p really showed how good the MSA's are relative to what some call the tone standard. I love mine. It's beautiful, old, & still works perfectly & has great sustain & tone that's sweet! Thanks, Larry Robertson. _________________ Website: www.Music2myEars.net

Hi Larry....Thank you for inquiring about the history of your guitar. When someone has pride in their instrument, it makes playing a pleasure and therefore perpetuates enthusiasm which leads to an ever higher personal achievement.
Serial number 2C6698 shows to be a blue double 10 which left the factory with 8 pedals and 4 knee levers. It was originally shipped to Fisher Music, location unknown, which is where our tracking system ended. Sorry, but the date of birth was not entered into record. I would guess-ti-mate it was born somewhere around the middle of 1981.
I appreciate your very kind words about your MSA. I have confidence it will continue to serve you well for many years to come.
Thank you for being part of the MSA family, we're honored to have you. |
