How To connect AD player into Rack System

Could some one help me out with connecting a CD player into my Rack system(for playing Ryhm Tracks)the rack box Consist of (1)DPC power amp,(1)Evans Pre Amp ,the older version,(1)Lexicon Alex Effects unit,what do i connect the CD player up to and how to do it.Many Thanks ,Ray White,(steelmanplayer@yahoo.com)(that"s A DPC 750 Power Amp)

Hi,Raymond, I'm not familiar with the inputs on the Evans preamp, but if it has aux ins, that's the way to go. You need it going into some kind of preamp before your power amp. If there are no dedicated auxiliary inputs, you might be able to use the effects return, but at the expense of losing your effects unit.
