I think the quickest way to solve this is to just rename it. Let me suggest

Removed from a more serious topic.
Since the tuning is in Eb minor, I think that your 4th and 8th strings should be properly tuned to Fb. ![Rolling Eyes](images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif) _________________ -πππ- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |

Is this a 'Nashville' tuning or 'Dumbville' tuning!

I can see a lock might be useful on that LKR, to get your roots on strings 4 & 8 |

Don't be picking at my copedent. The Eb is on the 2nd string and I only needed one.
You can thank Earnest at Stage One for this copedent because it is exactly the copedent that he has on every New Stage One he has ever built.
I'm sorry my thread was not as serious as who put the bop in the bop sha bop? Or who stuck the word chromatic on E9?. ![Oh Well](images/smiles/icon_ohwell.gif) |

Your post is funny, Bo. And now it is in the right place, unless maybe it should be in humor. ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Question is Bo;
Is this 'Eb min maj11 #9 b5' copedant
'Chromatic'? ![Laughing](images/smiles/icon_lol.gif) _________________ A.K.A Chappy. |

How about Eb minor/M7 (D) sus4 (Ab) #5 b13 (B/Cb). I think it adds an elegant layer of confusion. |

Steve, Your right it does look more elegant.
I thought about calling it a sus4 instead of an 11 but usually the suspended 4 takes the place of the 3rd in this case the b3 and both appear in my copedent so I felt that the 11 would imply that I wanted to use the 2 notes together in the chord.
Ok I know you recognized that as a steaming big pile. The real reason I didn't use a sus4 is that I didn't want to keep anyone in suspense here. |

I was holding my breath, waiting for someone to point that out. |

Larry, yes
But I canβt make a complete chromatic scale with my pedals and levers in this copedent because deliberately left out the C and the Bb

I do have a point to this topic and the point is that given all the possibilities that this copedent may have been called or could have been called , we now have evolved into something simply called E9 and we are seriously and/or humorously just enjoying the speculation.
