I'm looking for a Black Airline Resoglass Resophonic Guitar. These were sold by Montgommery Wards in the 1960s. I used to own one, and loved it very much. I loaned it to a friend 15 years ago and haven't seen it (or him) since.

Let me know if you have one of these laying around and would part with it.

Max

It looks like this:

Max...Airline guitars were manufactured by the Supro co. for Montgomery Ward to the best of my knowledge. A search for Supro may yield results. Best of luck.

Ok, it took two years to find one in my price range, but thanks to a heads up from a fellow forum member, I finally bought one of these this morning.

I'd also like to thank all the other forum folks that have kept their eyes open, also.

That's the last instrument I ever have to buy.

Ever.

I promise.

(Well, at least for myself.)

Well, almost everyone here says the black guitars sound the best. I really really like it, and it got here almost in time for my wife's birthday...
