Hey guys, after about two years I finally decided to put on a new set of strings on my Willy. It is so much easier to restring..just slide the string throught the changer hole and thread the tuning key hole and tune it up...no more slipping off the changer pins to mess with and if a string ever breaks, the end will fall on the floor not in the changer to cause you problems..design means a lot. Also no breakage of pins to worry about...I guess the Anapeg also has the same top of the changer design..great idea. |

Two years?!! Dude, you must have a lot of wax in your ears. 3 months is my absolute limit. I just can't handle the sound of old, dead strings. _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |

Hey b0b, You probably play a lot more than I do..really those old strings did not sound bad but I will admit 2 years is pushing it. BTW, I just sent you a string order...thanks. |

I get my strings from b0b also, but I still only change my strings every two years or so. I like that dead sound of a big box jazz guitar especially when I'm trying to improvise. Larry _________________ U12 Williams keyless 400

I just purchased a near new Williams 600. She is just beautiful and plays like a dream. I'm in the process of changing around some of my knee pedals. My LKR was set to lower the 2nd and 9th with a half and whole step. I'm changing that knee to lower the E's. Does anyone know how that double stop works. I can't even figure how to adjust it let alone move it to my RKR. I figured out how to move the rods and bell cranks, just can't figure that double stop thing. Any help appreciated, thanks dennis |

Thanks Guys,
I emailed Bill and he answered my question right away. Great help! Finished the project today. A little time consuming but I got it all changed over. I had to move 3 knees levers. The weather was lousy anyway. Dennis |
