Tubefex Problem??

I have a Tubefex that was working fine, loaded with Newman settings and no battery just a memory chip. The problem is that it just stopped working all of a sudden.It Still turns on and sometimes the little red lights come on but nothing comes up on the screen.Im from Australia so i give it to a Peavey technition nearby and he seems to think that the Processor chip has give up the ghost. Could this be the problem? Can you still buy this part? He said he sent Peavey a text but they never got back to him.Im Looking for some advice??
