Hey Boo,
You nailed that kick-off, the fills, and the break on "Mr. Record Man". I taped the show on RFD. I've been up all night trying to STEEL your licks. Man, you're the best!

You did sound great on Mister Record Man as Nick said. Great pickin and beautiful tone. I was hoping you'd be featured on more songs. And your bride sounded terrific.

Nick & Howard,
Thank You So Much for the nice comments fellas.
However i have to concede. I Stole that kick off and turn around From The great Russ Hicks!
he and Charlie MCcoy did a twin thing on the last half of it but it lays good even with out the twin part from Charlie. you can hear Russ do it on one of laney hicks albums. (the title escapes me right now) i dont think its exactly note for note but its close Smile
Russ is one of my all time heros and Laney sings a whole sack of good. lisa says thank you fellas as well. check out her myspace and web site when you get time.

Hey Boo,

The Laney Hicks CD is "Matters of the Heart". I was lucky enough to play drums on that session and what a treat that was. Laney sings all she wants, and Russ, well, he ain't so bad either. I was walking through the house when you came on last night and recognized the intro with the first two notes. You and Lisa did a real fine job, sounded great.
