Thought that might get your attention.
This is what the wives of the pickers do while we are doing our steel guitar stuff:
Barbara Rosetta and Saran Knight playing with TINKER TOYS

My wife not only stays for practice but she records it--keeps saying something about blackmail. |

My Dad and I took several pix of bored wifes sitting, with that look on their faces, at the St.Louis show.
We show these pix to our wifes every time they hint that they might want to go to a show with us.
I can just hear it now...
"You mean to tell me you were just, SITTING AROUND, LISTENING to STEEL GUITAR MUSIC, up on the 24th floor, 'till 5am!?!?"
Uh, yes Dear???

Mrs. Lee went with me to one show. She never asked to go to another. Imagine that!

Everytime I go to a steel show, when I come home all my wives (or girlfriends) have thrown my mess out the front door and changed the locks! Bobbe "How Do You do It?" |

Bill, they play the tinker toys better than some of us play the steel. Let's put them on the stage next year playing the tinker toys, what ya say. |

Guys---you don't understand--our "Tinker Toy" creation was not made out of boredom. Actually it was a very cleverly designed display for the CD's of Roy and Junior, and I must say, it did catch everyone's eye. Your creativity comes through on the steel guitar--our creativity comes through in many other areas!!
Thanks for being our friends,
