Tascam 424 MKIII Portastudio, six tracks... Older model but in as new condition, used only once. If you double on guitar and bass, this unit is great for making your own rhythm tracks. Also has pitch control feature.. $125.00 plus 1/2 shipping....Thank you. |

Six tracks ? Isn't this a four track recorder ? As far as I know Tascam/Teac Portastudios were only made in 4 and 8 track. |

From what I can see, it's four tracks, but it does appear that there are six channel strips on the mixer. I think the only company to make a six-track cassette-based recorder was Vestax. |

RD is absolutely correct. the mixer is six channel, recorder is four. My apologies for the error.
Marvin...The manual calls for "high bias, type 2 cassettes". |
