Terry,
And the name of the tune is?...... It sounds a bit like 'The waltz you saved for me'....

Hey thanks guys appreciate it.
Yea Max, that's the song "Something about that name"
Hey Pete, good to hear from you again, and thanks for the compliment.
I'm not happy with my tone at all. Like I said in my other post, the young man recorded it on a little portable boss recorder. I found out after I had already recorded my CD, that I could have gotten Bill Kelly from crossett, that has a recording studio, to record the CD for about $150 more than what I paid this guy to record it on his portable unit. But what's done is done. Oh Well

Terry,

I don't see anything not to like about your tone, or your playing. Not to pick on you, but if you plan to spend more money on the next one, I think I would consider some solos by other instruments, rather than just steel completely through. In any case, your playing is great, tasteful, and the tone sounds good to me. I've heard a lot of things come out of expensive studios that don't sound that good. Keep it up.

BTW: I've done quite a bit of studio work through the years, and I've NEVER done anything that I was completely satisfied with. We're our own worst critics.

Mr. Sneed, I like it a lot. But I had a computer problem, after opening the audio file. I don't know what it is. Is it only me?

Thanks Rick. Some of the songs on my CD do have other instruments that take a solo. Actually there's 5 out of the 10 songs that have other instruments that take a part. I really wanted to play the guitar part on a couple of the songs, "Steel Heaven" and "Just A Closer Walk With Thee. But, he was goin to charge me more to add the guitar, so I just played steel only. I'll post "Meeting In The Air" if I can remember how to get the song from my hosting site to hear. Embarassed It has piano and guitar solos on it. The song just drags on and on there's really to many verses/chourses in it.(But it's a very good track) Thanks again.

Joachim thanks. I don't know if this would be the problem or not, but the web hosting site was having problems about an hour ago. They were doing some work on it or something.
