Forgive me if this is not the right section to post but this is my first "New Post".
Some 35 years ago whilst living in London (UK) I heard over an unknown radio station an INSTRUMENTAL version of Jingle Bells. This had a beautiful PSG break in the song and ever since I have been trying to identify /obtain a copy.
Should any of you have any idea what and who recorded this I sure would appreciate your advice.
Thanks in advance.

A friend of mine plays for a Gospel quartet, and the leader of the group is a very nice man, and is also a preacher.
There was a lady from a church he used to pastor, whose husband had died, approached him about him playing the piano for the funeral.
He said of course he would, and asked what songs she wanted. She replied, that it didn't matter as long as he did her husbands favorite song when they rolled out the coffin at the end.
The preacher asked what song that would be, and she replied, Jingle Bells.
The preach was surprised and gently asked her if she was certain that's the song she wanted played.
She said it was.
The preacher worried about doing the song, because it's fairly hard to play Jingle Bells sad!
The funeral started, and the preacher played, and the group sang, all the while dreading to have to play Jingle Bells at the end.
Sure enough time came, he tucked his head and started playing Jingle Bells as slow and sad as possible.
Latter at the home of the widow, the preacher asked if he could do anything else to help. She said no. She thanked him for doing such a fine job with the music. She then asked him what the song was he played last.
The preacher said, the one you asked for, Jingle Bells.
The lady said where did you get that idea, I said Golden Bells. When They Ring Those Golden Bells.
My friend swears this is a true story! _________________ You can observe a lot just by looking |
