I calledf Mike and we discussed swlling one of his creations. So here it is.
ON a LDG size body, It has the Shobud changer, showbud white fretboard, it is a work of art. Tiger wood, Abolone trim on front, wood necks, Mike's great new parts underneith.
It is 3 floors and 5 knees, it was played yesterday at Panasofkee club jam for the first time out of the house, it is as new no marks, all wood.
The guitar has a NOS LDG case, no marks on it.
I will sell this Guitar for,
$1,500.00 shipped. This guitar is worth $3.000.00, someone will get a buy of a lifetime here.
Most have seen some of Mike's great work here on the forum, first person that says I will buy gets it, a question for more info is not a sale. tHERE WQAS A TUNING problem with the 4th string lower, Mike found it in 2 min, Had to be perfect for me to sell it, back up for sale.

Will post pictures from Lake Park Ga. going back there tomorrow. You realy do not need pictures this one is as new. Frank Rains here is the chance you said you wanted, one of Mike's guitars.

Unfortunately - due to uncontrollable circumstance I have to pass on this. Someone's gonna get a great steel at an amazing price!

I saw the guitar at Mike Weenik's house on Monday and again last night at the club jam. It is a "work of art" on the body and inlay. Also has gold (or gold colored) tuning keys and his own underneath mechanics.

The sound is great too, as Ernie played two songs on it at the jam.

I live three miles from Mike and have seen all his steels and the work in progress.
This man is a genious when it comes to machining perfection.
Each piece is a work of art. No mass produced parts on his steels.
I don't know why he does not charge twice his asking price.
They are more than worth it.

Wow...whoever buys the steel gets a top of the line instrument for a very reasonable price. With Martin Weenick there is top quality in every detail and no unpleasant surprises.

I wish I could buy this piece and use it as a pattern for my projects.
