It might have been Doyle Grissom, He worked with them for many years. He now is working with Jimmy Buffet.

Before Doyle Grisham joined Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band, he'd played steel on a few Randy Travis songs, like "1982", "On The Other Hand", "Deeper Than The Holler", and "Forever And Ever Amen"-which featured Paul Franklin on pedabro, while Doyle was playin' steel.
