The August 2009 issue of Hemmings Motor News has an article on Al Crocker and Paul Bigsby,builders of the Crocker mc.Many of us steel players are also motor heads and I came across this in HMN.It tells of PB racing and later building guitars.My personal antique collection is a 1970 PP Emmons,a 1980 PP Emmons,1930 Ford roadster,1939 Ford 2 dr,1950 Ford pickup w 350 Chev smallblock.

Nice to hear PA is noted on mc circles too. He was afterall, a bit of a celebrity in that field in the 20's and 30's. Too bad I probably won't have a chance to find that article anywhere.

I was at the car museum at Hershey in Jan. Check the motorcyle display area, there is a Crocker bike with a reproduction of one of Paul's guitars with the tailpiece. Also some information on their collaboration. Interesting how the motorhead/ musician connection continues to manifest. Craig Coffman.
