For sale is my beautiful looking and sounding '09 Ritt S10 3 peds, 4 knees. Some sort of basic Emmons set-up on it.
edit: Copedant is standard Emmons ABC on the floor and Es on the left knee. RKR lowers 2nd and 9th. RKL raises 1 and lowers 6.
It is practically brand new, a few hours playing time on it, never gigged. With Justice case.
I am asking what I've got in it already, minus a hundred bucks.
AUS$4000 plus shipping

Jeremy,
Could I be so bold as to ask why you would want to sell this beautiful guitar? As a Rittenberry appreciator, I could never part with mine. I could only add to my stable with yet another fine Rittenberry. Sorry to hear you are wanting to sell. |

Hi guys
Its for sale in Australia, and the price is quoted in Australian (AUS) dollars. I seriously doubt it will be economical for anyone outside of Ausralia to take this, once freight and other costs are considered.
I am a one steel kinda guy (especially in the curent financial climate) and I bought this with a view to possibly upgrading from my Pro-1. I planned to take delivery of this and then sell off the Pro-1 or the Rittenberry, keeping whichever one I preferred.
The Pro-1 takes my copendant better. Specifically, neither of the Ritt's left knee cross shafts will accomodate pulls on the first two strings unless I alter the guitar (take a grinder to it, change the positioning of the cross shafts and/or bend some rods, which I am not prepared to do).
This guitar sounds fantastic and works beautifully with the copedant which it was built with.
The guitar is practically brand new, unmarked except for some marks on the cross shafts where I have moved bellcranks around (I have restored it back to the emmons set-up indicated).

This is an awesome steel for someone who plays a standard emmons set up. The Rittenberry has a tone to die for. There is nothing wrong with this steel. As Jeremey said it is new. _________________ Custom Rittenberry SD10

Thanks Jerry, Bill
There is only a small subset of forum brothers and sisters who might be interested in this - i.e. the Australians.
It is priced at just under what it would cost to get a new one delivered to Australia - without the wait! |

To be absolutely clear with everyone, the ONLY problem with this guitar is that it will not do pulls on the first two strings from the left knees
... which will not be a problem for anyone using those knees for 4&8 only (i.e. standard Emmons set up)
another picture here showing colour of this guitar a bit more accurately.
The first picture is a bit 'washed-out', probably due to where it was taken |

So Jeremy I'm assuming that if they had set this guitar up for your copedant in the first place, like you expected them to, you would have probably kept it ??
Nice looking guitar. _________________ 14'Zumsteel Hybrid D10 9+9

Oh, absolutely Paddy.
My problem will always be dreaming of the Rittenberry that could have been for me .......
These guitars (if this one is any indication) are beautifully made and sound exquisite |

I have agreed to hold this guitar for "Shaun" in Brisbane Australia, who is getting the money together to buy it. Shaun has a week to get his finances together. If that falls through, I'll let you know. |
