Does anyone know what this "Emmons" really is? It certainly does not look like my '82 SKH! |

That guitr is far from being an original "Emmons".
The necks and keyheads aren't Emmons and the undercarriage certainly isn't Emmons.
And what's with that crooked mounted cross rod?
And that goofy looking vertical knee lever, just how long is that sucker anyhow? |

If you notice, there also isn't any "control plate" between the necks with tone control and defeat, only a neck micro switch. The only thing that might be Emmons are the foot pedals. |

Looks like it could be a Nashville LTD or at least some of the parts look like what's on my LTD.

I took a second look, it has a LTD pedal bar. It has different knee levers and bell cranks than mine and my guitar has frock on it.

Well David, it looks like you or someone got his attention. It has been ended with the note that the seller ended it early because of an error in the listing. |

Hey---credit to the seller. How often do you see an inaccurate description followed by the disclaimer "I don't really know anything about these things". It is a common fraud maneuver. But clearly this guy didn't know anything and he did the right thing when he learned that he was misinformed.
It's nice to see integrity on ebay now and then. |

Tony,
You had me worried.
I thought maybe your guitar was wearing a dress! |

I though the same thing Tony. My Rittenberry built SD10 LTD has the same type pedals and knee levers (not that long honker though), but the bellcranks and crossrods are different. Mine is also flocked.
When I first looked at it I thought it may be an Ed Naylor built guitar.
Glad the seller pulled it.
Thanks to David for taking the time to write him and inform him of the issue.
Cheers!

I don’t know about Emmons guitars but the
pick up on the forward neck is an old Fender
type -- I would guess off a student modal --
they were about 5/8th of an inch thick - tall - |

I wonder if one of our 'EX members' is selling that!
Looks like a 'Donation' steal. _________________ A.K.A Chappy. |

You were being unfair. I think the rubber "crutch tips" on the legs may be like those used by Emmons. |

Chris,
Yes, you are correct!
I believe the logo badge on the front could be Emmons also but it could have been misspelled, I didn't look that close! |
