The Moodys have always been one of my all time favorites. There first 6 albums are nearly perfect. It's funny after I started playing the pedal steel I started hearing it in all kinds of rock and pop tunes that I never noticed before (Joe Cocker) comes to mind. Somebody pressed the a&b pedals up and down a few times and it's a take. LOL

Yes, Jason that is true, but it is also the case with other instruments like for instance the cowbell.(Thread
below). The more you play and also listen to music; the more you are able to analyse what you are hearing, I believe. Beause of this, some old records you knew back then, can become very interesting again 'cause you hear them in a different way.
