| Greetings and salutations to all on this forum. I had the privilege on the 16th to play a benefit for a fellow steel guitarist on the gulf-coast of MS., Don Richards. He will be undergoing some surgery in a very short time for cancer on his esophagas (I think I spelled it right). Among those in attendance was Mr. Bill Stafford and Mr. Jerry Jaye, who both live in that area. Mr. Bill and I are co-founders of a new steel guitar and musicians club, which we have named "Deep South Steel Guitar and Musicians Assoc." We are inviting andy and all steelers and musicians to join this group. This area needs this kind of association to further promote the instrument that we all love dearly, but not exclude other great musicians whose abilities excel.
