Well, I hate to sell it 'cause I adore this guitar. I've got to raise the money up for another steel so here it is. It's a 1997(I believe) "Honey Blonde" Fender American Stratocaster Plus Deluxe. These guitars came stock with: Schaller Locking Keys, LSR Roller Nut, Fender Lace Sensor Pickups (Blue/Silver/Red), Floyd Rose/Fender Licensed Locking Bridge/Tremelo, Strings don't go through the body like most other strats. You may also notice it has no string trees, with a Roller Nut it doesn't need them, so they didn't come on these models. Everything on this guitar is stock except for the pick guard. They made these from 1987 to 1999 so this was one made in the last few years of production. This is the best sounding/playing strat I've owned and I've owned several, including some American Deluxe's and a couple Vintage Reissues/Custom Shop guitars. The case has a missing latch, and a crack on the bottom side which is pictured. The guitar only has one nick in the finish which is also pictured. This is a true players guitar, It has all the bells and whistles!
I have larger/higher res photos available on http://pics.bigbensteel.net - If the gallery doesn't auto-load, on the left side of the page click "Strat Plus". When you click on an individual photo you can click "View Full Size" and in some browsers/smaller windows you can click the picture when it pops up to zoom in.
So I am going to offer the guitar here on the forum for a few days before it's off to eBay. I need cash only here, no trades. $1000 Shipped/Insured OBO to your door. PayPal or Postal Money Orders only.

Ben,
You have a Strat Plus Deluxe Ultra. I had one just like it but sold it to a guy in Russia via da Ebay.
I really like the bridge in that guitar. Fender has discontinued it even as a replacement part.
Very nice top of the line axe. |

TTT to verify any misleading information. A strat expert has corrected me yet again, I will paste his email:
Quote: |
The Deluxe Plus was fitted with the Floyd Rose bridge towards the end of production, (same as the Ultra – early Ultras have the standard two point tremolo bridge assembly).
The Ultra has four pickups, with a dual Lace Sensor in the bridge position and a phase splitter switch on the pick guard, an Ebony fretboard, all chrome plated hardware and the neck plate is engraved Ultra.

According to what he says, it's a "Plus Deluxe" and not a "Plus Deluxe Ultra" - I'm just trying to put up the correct information guys
Once again I say, I appreciate your help Rich or else I wouldn't have investigated the modeling a step further. Thank you. _________________ Benjamin Turner |
