I'm sure everyone has seen those funny videos with the household pet 'singing' along with someone trying to practice.

Here are my 2 worst offenders, hound dogs of course.

Angel the Basset and Duke the Plott Hound.

Show us your dogs and tell us your dog stories.

These are our three Afghans, and as all Steel Guitarists dog's should do, when I practice, they just lay there and appreciate, or they get no dinner.

Great looking dogs. Makes me miss mine. The ex got custody. Someone better post something like a dog playing a steel, or this might get shut down. We don't want that.

DAMN Rick, That is one BIG dog. Sure would like to see the pooper scooper you need to use. Whoa! I can you needing a little bobcat bulldozer for that dude.

EDIT: Didn't register that the one dog is in front of a steel in one of the posts. That should keep this thread legit.

Steve,

Truman saw Gretchen's picture and he's in love. He wanted to know if they could meet for drinks sometime?

Hey Rick,

That's a handsome young fella ya got there. I'll bet our two would make quite a couple when they got a little older!

Gretchen says no drinks yet, but she'd be happy to wrestle and gnaw on a leg or two for a while. Laughing

We'll have to compare notes over the next few months.

We lost our last one to old age in 2006 and I just got to the point where I didn't get all fogged up thinking about replacing her. Here's a couple of pics of the old one:

This is "Gidget"at about 1 year old. She's 15 now. She never was very good at playing pedal steel. Her legs are too short to reach the pedals

Steve,

I lost my German Shepherd "Hogan" (pictured here and in the thread with my wife riding him, photoshop project) two years ago. I had him since he was 8 weeks. He had a hip replacement at age five and did great, but at age twelve the arthritis caught up with him. I miss him every day. This is the rest of our clan. I love each of them dearly.

Pete. The Jack Russel.

The amazing part is him standing still long enough for a picture.
