Scott Walls plays in the Cornell Hurd Band at Jovita’s on Thursdays. We’re also at the Broken Spoke on Friday the 26 and Tim’s Porch (formerly the Backyard) on Saturday. Scott is a compelling and inventive player. Hope to see you out. Dance by and wave.

Sundays is Heybale with Buzz Evans being backed up by some guitar player fella at The Continental. Carp may have a gig up north. I'll see him monday and ask. I'll be around Austin that week so get in touch. I'm just starting to get a feel for the place. There is an absurd amount of good music here.

Not a monster, but more of an ogre, I'm at the Broken Spoke on Wednesday 6/24 from 6pm to 8pm (Happy Hour), with Tony Harrison and the Neon Swingboys. Two saxes, trumpet, lead guitar, fiddle, rhythm section and yours truly playing everything from Bob Wills to Bobby Darin, Johnny Cash to Johnny Mercer, "Hey, Porter" to Cole Porter, as well as Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, and whatever strikes our fancy.

Disclaimer: It's pretty much all C6.

The gig's a trip, ask Howard K. He's played it with us. Wink
