I'm looking for an old Fender Kingman or one of the smaller 6 string model Fender acoustics. I'm looking for the older model, not the new one that has the same name. I would like the older one with the bolt on neck, not a cutaway and with the strat like headstock. I'm not looking for a pristine or show room type guitar, I'm looking to play it.
If you have one and are interested in giving it a good home where it will get played a lot let me know.
Regards,

I've got one,- An old Fender Newporter, and I know why anyone would want one.
It's my favourite guitar because it records brilliantly, it plays as easily as a Strat, and it just feels right.
So sorry, but it's not for sale. There's no way it could ever get played and loved more than it is here!
I have "better" guitars, as in more valuable, but the one I reach for out of the rack is the Fender.
Cheers

I have always liked the looks of these guitars with the Strat type headstock.
Fender decided to start building these again in 2008 and I just picked up a "2nd" on e-bay the other day for $299.
It is sposed to be delivered today.
