Can someone tell me the height of the pedal rack for the BMI guitar, 1 & 3/4" or 2"? Also does the pedal rack clamp on or does it have the center bolt holding it on? Is the threaded stud of the legs a 5/8 X 11?
I have to make a set of legs for a fellow and he bought the guitar as a basket case and he is out of town and can't help me out right now.

Hi Don. The rack is 2", it clamps on (no bolt-thru).

The leg plug seems to be 1/2", best I can measure it. It is definitely bigger than on my other guitars (Fess, Sho-Bud, Carter, p/p).

I don't have a gauge to measure the thread count. Obviously you will need more info from someone on this.

Hope this helps.

Don, as stated the pedal board is 2". The threaded lug is 5/8" with regular course threads I think 13 threads per inch. Feel free to email me if you need me to measure anything else. rollermusic@cox.net

Thanks Jon And Jerry. The 5/8 plug would be 11 threads per inch, the 1/2 is 13 TPI.
Just one other question and I will have all the info I need. Does the bottom of the thread have a relief slot cut in it like a shoulder bolt? It should have or the legs will loosen.
The customer said he tried a 5/8 X 11 bolt and it fit but I wasn't sure if it was drilled out or if the 5/8 was standard. Almost all the guitars today are 1/2 X 13.

Thanks, You both have been a great help.

The BMI leg is the one with the larger plug.

Hope this helps.

Thanks so much Jon. I see it has the undercut groove in it. That will work.
