...a steel guitar was an impulse buy??...you bought a guitar you didn't need??...who among us could have seen THAT coming?...if the sales on this forum were based entirely on 'need,' i'm thinking that not many transactions would take place... _________________ ...honk if you've never seen an uzi fired out of a car window...

...i WANT it...do i need it?...hahahahaha...who actually NEEDS another one?...i guess it WOULD make a nice twin to my pro II...nah, i'd better pass...how many steels do you think are purchased out of 'need'??...i'll put the over/under at 1%...if it weren't for impulse buying, the steel guitar market would not exist... _________________ ...honk if you've never seen an uzi fired out of a car window...

G O R G E O U S guitar !!!
I have almost the same just a lil' older.. with 6 pedals 1 knee.
If I could afford the weight I'd bring it back to France after my yearly summer vacation in my home country (Montreal) !!
It is a wonderful guitar with, I am sure, tons and tons of T O N E !!!

Ya, these guitars sound really great. It's like that tone you hear on old recordings jumping right out at you when you hit the strings. This one's just a little redundant with my D10 r+b Professional. I let G.A.S. get the better of me on this one.
I did both a recording session and a gig with it on Thursday and Friday. Besides some regular tweaking of the tuning, it sounded excellent. As I said, it's best to know how these guitars function underneath if you're buying one. I'm not really a tinkerer, so I generally need to have a newer S10 for gigging and the studio. |

Shipping to points in the USA will be about $120, and to points in Canada about $80. This is standard shipping - two weeks in the US and about a week in Canada. Email me with any more questions. |

i'm confused now...i thought 'professional' model sho-buds were the ones that said 'the professional' on them like my old d10. |

Don't let 'em distract you Chris. That Bud is a beauty and I'm sure it sounds like a dream. Just look at Richard Burton's ZB...a great looking steel, maybe not (Sorry Richard), but boy, does it sound great.

Thanks, Duncan....it certainly is easy to get distracted here sometimes.
I'm lowering the price to $1,385 plus shipping. If no one wants it at that price, I'll move it over to Ebay. Heck, you could restore it and still be under $2,000 if you knew what you were doing, although it plays fine now. _________________ Jackson Steel Guitars

You're welcome, Chris. Your Bud just "drips" with character. It is making me want to act upon the impulse to buy it. I can see why you got it. Also, Richard B., your ZB is beautiful in its own way and you make it sing.
Best of luck on the sale! _________________ "The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over." |

Thanks, Duncan. It's a great guitar. I'm surprised no one has expressed any interest at under $1,400. And it's nearing 1000 views with not one email or PM. My experience here is that things move fast or they don't move at all, and I can't go any lower. So it's off to Fleabay I go.

I know, Marc.....I've seen way worse examples go on Ebay for much more. All I wanted was my return. Now I guess I'll wait out the auction. _________________ Jackson Steel Guitars
