...you absolutely have to come out to the Honesdale Rhythm and Roots Festival. It's an all-day music and arts festival headlined by Junior Brown. I just played a show with Junior at Bearsville Theater in Woodstock and he was crazy good. I hadn't seen him in about 10 years. I loved that he played Almost To Tulsa, too.
Also appearing at the fest will be Redd Volkaert and his band, Heybale!, with Earl Poole Ball. I'm playing with the Jack Grace Band (we have a 10:30AM hit (uggh) and a 7:30PM hit). There are other bands as well. This is a FREE festival. http://www.honesdalerootsandrhythm.com/index.htm
I got to spend some quality time with Junior in his dressing room and we talked steel for a good 15 minutes. Very interesting man, no doubt. I didn't get a chance to show him my Clinesmith, but I'm hoping next week we get a minute or 2. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links

Jon I love the guitar. Between the Clinesmith and the 6 string Frying Pan that Mike Dotson made with Rick Aiello's pickup, I'm good to go.
The tone through my Music Man RP100 is phenomenal, if I do say so myself. I don't use anything but a volume pedal, and I swapped out the harsher EVM12L for an EV Force 12. It has a sound evocative of the best of the past. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |
