This tune is also on the Live G'dansk DVD. Very good stuff.

Thanks for posting Rich and Ron, Gilmour's Live at Gdanks (sp?) album and his "On an Island" are brilliant!

The Gdansk CD is indeed a great one, and possibly the last thing with Richard Wright's playing, whom said that particular tour was the most fun he'd had in Pink Floyd's history. Terrific swan song for the man, and here's hoping many more like it from Gilmour!

That's wild, even during a souncheck he's being filmed by multiple cam's and recorded. It's interesting how some artists fade into obscurity and others remain iconicuntil they decide to stop. Gilmour is still an awesome musician.

Hans,

That song is "Smile". There is a live track of it on the "Live In G'Dansk" DVD. Great stuff.

There is a lot of Lap steel on this DVD By Gilmour and also by Jon Carin his second lap & keyboard player. the box set with 2 CDs and 2 DVDs is the one to own.
