There will be another great show in Ringgold, GA this Friday night, March 1st. I played this show two weeks ago and it was great. It is held at the new Colonnade Theatre which is only 1 1/2 mile off I-75 just south of Chattanooga, TN. This is an Opry style Country music show with different guests each show. It is held the first and third Friday of each month. I will be playing most of the shows except when I'm out of town doing steel guitar shows. This next show is going to be a great one, so if you're in the area, try to make it if you can. There are several singers on the show, but one of my old buddies, singer Duane Dee from FL is on this one and I can't say enough about him. Duane is, without a doubt, one of the finest vocalists I have ever played with. Those of you who were at the Chattanooga steel guitar show last March heard Duane as he was on that show. Duane had several hit records back in the sixties, including the original hit of "Before The Next Teardrop Falls". This was recorded on Capital records in 1966 before Freddy Fender's version. I just returned from FL doing a double album with Duane Dee which is a tribute to Ray Price album and has some of the finest tunes ever done by Ray Price, such as: Danny Boy, The Other Woman, That's All That Matters, Crazy Arms, Heartaches By The Number, Night Life and so on. I will be selling this album in a few weeks when it is released. Also, this show Friday night is hosted by Barry Gilreath who hosts the steel guitar show in Chattanooga. For further info and directions, call Barry direct at: 706/937-6621.
I hope to see you there.
