I play the Flag City Opry in Edna, TX every month with a bunch of long-time friends. The show is totally unrehearsed, but a lot of fun. Local guests, big names, and folks in between. Resident Steeler is my good friend and fine picker Craig Schmidt. David Waters - Guitar (we both pick with Billy Mata), Buddy Boehm - Piano, Henry Hosek - Fiddle, Eddie Briseno - Drums
Billy Mata came to the opry and brought my fellow picker Roger Edgington. (Geez, Roger... I gotta see you every weekend, and now during the week, too???) LOL Well, Roger and Craig traded some tasty steel licks, although the camera doesn't begin to capture these guys' great pickin'. Sound quality is not top notch, but decent speakers or headphones improve the audio when listening on computer. It's too bad, since those guys really played some good stuff. Anyway, I wanna give my peeps some props. I sure am blessed to play music with great friends and great pickers.
Rachel Boettcher - Stand By Your Man
Rachel Boettcher - You Belong to Me
Rachel Boettcher - You Ain't Woman Enough to Take My Man (No, that's not me walking it on the chorus!)
Billy Mata - Private Party
Jeff Woolsey - When My Conscience Hurts the Most
Jeff Woolsey - Don't You Ever Get Tired of Hurting Me _________________ I'm a Bob Moore Junkie!!! |
