I love my Danelectric Honeytone (mini headphone amp). What type of amplifiers/speakers or amplifier SETTINGS would most closely mimic the Danelectic? |

you could always buy an adapter and run it as a preamp of sorts...or run it into some power amp with a speaker hooked to that... |

To me it has a 'warm' sound (reverb-like?, I don't know) |

This is a little headphone amp. I don't have a way to record through it. |

I'd think it would be hard to mimic the Danelectro with a bigger amp. You're basically using a tiny transistor amp with a very small, low-quality speaker. Chris's suggestion about running it into a power amp might work. I think the crappy little speaker is providing a fair bit of the charm! |

You can record by connecting the headphone out on the Danelectro to the line in on your computer. Since it is a level mismatch you'll need to turn the volume down. |
