I've finally got some new JERRY BYRD music up and running on the JERRY BYRD-Fan Club.com site.

Pure Hawaiian tunes in a medly kick things off on the opening or home page.

On Jerry's Music Page.........a great old tune that if you're old enough to remember Billy Robinson's fine steel guitar work on Red Foley's "Tennessee Border" and "Tennessee Border #2".......you're sure to enjoy Ernie Lee's rendition of the same tune. This dates back to May, 1949, and is as beautiful today, as it was back then.

There's been some other changes and additions you might care to examine.

Hope you enjoy it all.

I remember back in the early 80s we were in Hawaii and were doing a show at a naval base. Jerry Byrd was playing at a hotel just down the beach from ours. I was walking along the beach that night and heard the most beautiful steel guitar tone that I had ever heard. It was Jerry Byrd and they were playing an open air area behind the hotel. So, I got to stand about 50 feet from them and hear him. I became a Jerry Byrd fan.

Ray, you're one of the best friends old Jerry ever had. If you were to spend half the time you do promoting Jerry to promoting your own talents you'd be a wealthy man by now. Winking

Ray, it's great that you continue to add to the site.
Having had the opportunity to visit with Jerry a number of times, his memory and music will never die. He is undoubtedly one of the most memorable individuals I have had the pleasure to meet.
Jerry's tone was remarkable, even in the day of early electronics. It surpasses many of the sounds you hear today recorded through much more advanced techiques.
