I made this F#+G 1&7 string knee lever change. Was wondering if anyone would like to show me there favored moves with this lever. Thank you in advance. Dennis Muttering

I'm probably the least expert player in this forum, but I find myself using that change a lot for country music. With the A and B pedals down, it gives you the 7th chord. It's used, for example, in the intro and the solo on Merle Haggard's "The Bottle Let Me Down". It's used a little bit in "Swinging Doors" as well. Another example is the solo from "Just One More Time" by the Derailers.

If you use one of Emmons' past RKL changes, by Raising #1 to [G] and Lowering #6 to [F#] on an All-Pull Guitar, you will also have the A7-chord; when you combine the knee-lever with the A~B pedals depressed! (C#)~D~E~F#~([G])~(C#)~E~(A)~D#~[G] I think this change is more practical and more useful!

You can also use that change without any pedals to get a minor chord. Use string 1 instead of 3 on top.
Or 7 instead of 6 on the bottom parts of the guitar.

I have two variations of this lever. On one guitar I pull string 7 all the way to G#, picking up string 1 as 7 it hits a G, giving me "feel stop" there. Raising 7 all the way to G# is very handy, or with AB down and 7 at G the 1st F# string is a 13th.

On another P/P guitar I pull both to G#, with 1/2 stops at G by picking up a lower on the C6 for the feel stop. For me this works well with a .026w on 7 and .012 on 1.

Either gives you the advantages of the F# to G lever plus some more.

I put that change on all of my guitars. Can't do without it.
