Against my better judgement I found myself in a place called the Little Red Hen saturday night IN SEATTLE. A honky tonk in Seattle. Couldn't believe it. Very good band AND a steel player. Introduced myself to him between songs and asked if he was a member of the Forum. He is not and I cannot remember his name. Had a good time. Dance floor was a little small but we did a ten step and some two steppin'. |

"Country Dave" might know who the steeler was, because he plays there off and on. Jack<>< _________________ Little Round Mound of Sound. D-10 8/5 ShoBud "The Professional" Pevey NV400. |

That club is surprisingly close to an actual country honky tonk (except for the girls dancing with girls).
I'm playing there next Friday with the Buckaroosters (all Buck Owens, all night). |

Was the Band Mo' Trouble? It might have been Pat Tennace. He plays a 12 string Excel. Maybe Tom Gustafson who plays a Derby now I believe.
Dan, so far I'm off this Friday, I might have to come in and harass you Buckaroosters. |

It will be great to see you, Dave. Thanks for filling in for me when I was in the hospital!

Actually, Dan that wasn't me. I was booked that night and Dave K. got an old friend who usually plays dobro to fill in.
How's that ankle doing? Take Care.

Oh yeah, that was Tab Tabscott.
The ankle is great, I've gotten to the point where I can use the right knee levers (not the volume pedal yet). Andy Marshall at THD put a volume control on my Desert Rose guitar, and it works great for gigs like the Buckaroosters. |
