A song I like on the Leavitt tuning.
A few pedals in there without the
jazzy sounding chords.
A very flexible tuning waiting to be explored.

The "Leave-It" tuning (as I affectionately refer to it), was the only tuning I decided not to pay for. (All the others I used were free.)

True story...

Once upon a time at a steel show, a player was offering tab of a couple songs he had worked up with the Leavitt tuning. When I inquired about the (then new) tuning, he was very cagey. When I asked outright what the notes were in the open tuning, he said matter-of-factly "You have to buy the booklet to find out. I don't just give out the tuning for nothing".

And now, you know why I call it the "Leave It" tuning. Laughing Laughing Laughing

By the way...nice job on the song, Roy. Mr. Green

That's unfortunate Donny.
Reminds me of " A Wound Time Can't Erase". Smile
Bill Leavitt, the inventor of the tuning
never intended it to be that way.

I play Leavitt along with other tunings
and any one of them could keep me busy
for a lifetime.

Best Regards,

Roy
