Long shot really but if any of you guys have a ‘Fender Wildwood acoustic’ around you I would appreciate a fairly close up picture of the bridge, I have one that needs working on and the bridge has been partially removed I am sure they had individual tuners but my
old Fender promo pics are not close enough to show it, any help would be appreciated..
thank you……Bob |

Bob, is this what you're looking for?
I copied this out of Richard Smith's Fender book.

Michael, Your a star! That is exactly what I'm looking for I have one in serious need of 'TLC' and I couldn't get a close enough pic, that will do nicely thank you.
I just found this minutes ago, it was on a 68 Palomino similar set up, but again not a close up
much appreciated.
Regards Bob |

The result as promised! The 'person' who took (whatever!) to it had marked the top in front of the bridge so the profile is slightly deeper! there is no finish or polish on it as you can see, again thanks for your help guys she now looks sounds and feels great! ta!

Bob, That is a beautiful looking guitar. Where did you find such a rare instrument?
Is it for your personal collection? or is it going on the the Market?

Ah Ted, I recall drooling over the Fender Pics in my local music store when I was in my teens saying, some day I'll have one of them! Well the day has come albeit forty years on! For sale? Your guess! |

I have a Fender Kingman early seventies. I repaired the damaged top and sides, I took off the liner strips thinking I could easily replace them, but now I'm stuck because their width is above average. (Normaly they're a 1/4 inch), this one needs 5/16 which equals 8 millimeters. Can somebody help me, please! |

I just scored this baby a few days ago,a '67 Wildwood IV... it has a repaired top crack, and is Wildwood GREEN, just like Charlie Pride's guitar !! Oh how I drolled over that 1967 Fender catalogue in my youth!! stock bridge with a plastic saddle, and it's original...

Hi Bob,
Good looking guitar, the only thing that puzzles me is that the rod going lengthwise through (from heel- to neck block)the body, is missing.
