Most, if not all SGF members know that very recently we have lost a very well loved forum brother, Rick Alexander.
Rick was known for his many videos, instructional materials,and was an untiring ambassador of the non pedal steel guitar. He was a friend to all and one of his great accomplishments was producing the non pedal steel guitar sessions at the shows.
His last show in Dallas '09 was off the charts wonderful and successful.
Jeff Strouse, a very dear friend of Rick and right hand man at the shows.....and myself.....with the full support of Rick's wife Cathe, Albert Talley of the TSGA, and slated performers,.... have taken on the the task of continuing the tradition that Rick so selflessly produced.
We WILL continue Rick's journey and legacy. We'll keep everyone posted on our progress and news as it happens, both here and in the Steel Without Pedals Forum.
