I've outgrown my mBox, and I'm headed over to eBay in a minute to start shopping around, but I thought I'd try here first.

I need 8 channels, new or used is fine, just something that works with Logic or Protools. Preferably firewire/USB, but I'm open to other options as well.

Thanks!

I had considered keeping the unit and not selling but the Alesis io26 is still for sale. It is a Firewire interface unit and comes with Cubase 3 LE version.

I was using it with Sonar, but it should work with Protools too.

Only digidesign hardware works with protools unless you have the m-powered version which will work with most m-audio interfaces. Personaly I like the presonus stuff. Tascam makes one that would fit the bill.

I'm a dealer for protools, tascam, presonus, and pretty much everything pro audio and recording related.

Feel free to email me with more details about what you're looking for.

I upgraded from the Alesis to a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40. I tried a Presonus Firestudio but it wouldn't support Vista 64 bit and Presonus couldn't say when or if Vista 64 bit drivers would be available. Actually, I'm glad the Presonus didn't work out, the Saffire Pro 40 is a much better and more flexible unit.

If I don't sell the Alesis, I'm going to use it with a Laptop for "portable" recording.
