I sold this to Jon awhile ago and, if this is still in the condition that it was when I sold it to him, it was danged near brand new!

Do these have the big, conventional single coil pickup or the string-through type?

As I remember they are the Valco pickups- along with the rest of the guitar- they looked brand new!

The pick up is quite powerful with a great sound. The volume and tone controls are in excellent working condition. I changed the strings recently and the tuners are also in great shape. As Jim mentioned the guitar looks almost brand new with hardly a scratch or nick on it and the finish is still smooth and shining.

The great news is that if I bought this we could eliminate shipping fees. The bad news is that you would have to accept a bag of crumpled newspaper in lieu of cash.
That guitar is absolutely gorgeous. Good luck!
