I was playing in a club in southwest Kansas last night. This really big guy came dancing by with his wife and to my surprise it was Scotty Henderson. He was gracious enough to come sit in and played my last set. Scotty just blew away the crowd with some truly beautiful steel playing. If you get the chance to hear Scotty play, you should jump at the chance. Great player and a really nice guy.

Danny, you're right about Scotty being a good player, but he's one heck of a dancer too if you don't let him step on your toes! Laughing

Oh, by the way, he's a member of the Kansas Steel Guitar Hall of Fame. Ray

Scotty plays so good, it is hard to describe his playing. You just have to be there. Jody.

Hey Ray, It sounds like you may have danced with Scotty once or twice. Laughing
As I've said several times, Scotty is not getting the recognition that is due him. Its true if you haven't seen him play, your in for a treat.

The only problem is he always tries to lead. Laughing

You think that his playing is something, you should see him on the golf course!!

Thanks Dan. It was a pleasure to see you again, you sounded great, and thanks for letting me set in. It was good to play with my old pickin Brothers Gary and Joe. You guys sounded great. Teresa wouldn't let me lead on the dance floor cause we were waltzing and she thinks I can't waltz. (We'll keep that a secret!) And besides dancing in Crocs isn't something I would recommend. Pat I look forward to tearing up another 18 holes with you...good times. Ray we almost stopped by for breakfast on Sunday but figured you were asleep at 3am and didn't want to wake you.LOL Thanks to all for your kind words and as always see you down the road. We will be at the Bronc Buster Saloon near Granby This Sunday for a benefit for Dewayne Bowman, Marshfield in June, and of course the big Jam in Branson in July.
God Bless
