Someone is going to get a great guitar...there are very few Infinities out there, and there will not be many more. Don't miss this chance to own such a wonderful instrument. And all the proceeds are going to support steel guitar...

Ron, thanks for the reply.
However, is there someone out there with the knowledge to answer my original question;
which is, how much does this guitar weigh without the case?
I need this info to see if it will comply with airline weight restrictions. If it costs me extra to fly
then I don't bring any money home. Who knows, I might want a ham sandwich, too.
Thanks. |

In the Red Dirt Case (which this guitar comes with) mine (which only has three pedals so is a tiny bit lighter I suppose) ) is just a hair under 62 pounds. I can try to get the weight without the case tomorrow, but don't you want to fly it home in the case? |

The case is a good chunk of the weight. I know that my Zum SD-10 in a good but more modest case comes in almost 10 pounds lighter. I don't think there is much difference in the weight of the two guitars. With my Zum I can get it under 50 pounds if I put the pedal bar and legs in a suitcase. But the Red Dirt is a fantastic case, and it has wheels. Oh and I love my Infinity and have no regrets at all about buying it. |
